Ph.D./Master’s program opportunities in MAE @ Oklahoma State University
Prof. Shuodao Wang
9/23/2014
I am currently accepting applications for two Ph.D. students starting in Spring/Fall 2015. The students will join my research group (http://www.mae.okstate.edu/content/wang-shuodao) in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University.
My research interests are in projects related to mechanics, design and fabrication of MEMS and micro-sensors. A variety of experimental and design projects are possible, including but not limit to (a) theoretical/numerical mechanics modeling and fabrication of micro-electronics, (b) bio-inspired / bio-integrated electronic systems, (c) transfer printing technology for heterogeneous system integration. Most projects are multidisciplinary in nature and will provide students the opportunity to work in advanced research facilities such as the cleanroom and imaging suite at the Helmerich Research Centerhttp://www.osu-tulsa.okstate.edu/helmerich/index.php.
Prospective students should have strong background in Engineering Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related disciplines. Students with a master degree are especially encouraged to apply.
If you are interested, please contact: shuodao.wang@okstate.edu, with your CV and a copy of transcript. The application deadline for Fall 2015 is Mar 1st.
